Threat of Mass Shooting Ends Concert at Lincoln City Cultural Center Brian Bahouth

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, the Lincoln City Police Department received a threat of a mass shooting at the Lincoln City Cultural Center. At the time of the call, musical artist Patrick Magada was playing in the Cultural Center.  LCPD Officers responded to the event, secured the area, and evacuated the building.

On further investigation, it was determined there was no current danger to the public.

Sergeant Torin Liden is a Lincoln City patrol officer and public information officer.

“We’re gonna take any threat of mass shooting seriously and investigate it as if it is real, until we’re able to make an arrest or able to determine if it was an actual threat that was happening or if it was someone just trying to call in a hoax or SWAT the event,” Sergeant Liden said by phone. “But until we make that arrest, it’s going to be impossible for us to be sure one way or the other.

“It’s an open and investigation. Obviously I can’t share too much information, but we are investigating to the best of our ability.”
