Waldport, OR, June 28, 2018 – A portion of Forest Service Road 32, known locally as Indian Creek Rd., on the Central Coast Ranger District will be temporarily closed beginning July 6 through September 1 while a culvert is being replaced. This closure is necessary to ensure public safety during construction work, which is intended to improve stream habitat for fish and other aquatic species.
Indian Creek Road is located 20 miles east of Waldport on Hwy 34 and 16 miles south of Hwy 34 on Five Rivers Road (County Road 807). The closure will impact traffic from milepost 0.0 (end of Five Rivers Rd.) to milepost 0.5. Travelers will be able to continue to access the area by taking Forest Service Road 37 from Five Rivers Road for 7 miles to Forest Service Road 3250, which intersects Indian Creek Road after 6 miles.
