Brian Bahouth

Bahouth Brian began his career as a public media journalist as a volunteer at KGNU radio in Boulder, Colorado in 1998. He has been news director at three public radio stations, KRZA serving Alamosa, Colorado and Taos, New Mexico, KUNR in Reno, KVMR in Nevada City, California, and Brian was co-founder of KNVC community radio in Carson City, Nevada. He also co-founded the non-profit news organization, Sierra Nevada Ally. He has reported for numerous stations and networks to include Capital Public Radio, Nevada Public Radio, High Plains News Service, National Native News, Voice of America, Latino USA, Pacifica Network News and National Public Radio. Brian has published more than a dozen pieces of original short fiction in print and audio. He holds a BA in English from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York, and an MA in English from the University of Nevada Reno. Brian is a veteran of the sea-going US Navy, ‘79-’85.
